Who We Are

We’re Philadelphia Neighborhood Networks, an independent progressive political organization that emerged from the city’s grass roots in 2004 and has grown to include activists throughout the City and into the suburbs.

We have a set of principles that put people first, and we mobilize our members to influence government to align with those principles.  We work on two levels  — on one level advancing progressive ideas through legislative advocacy, and on the other level campaigning hard for political candidates who support our ideas, principles and proposals.

Learn more about our Principles in About NN. See Issue Groups and Electoral Politics pages to participate in blog discussions and work with us in Action Groups.

If you want to know more about candidates we have endorsed in the past, or are considering for the future, see our Endorsements and Candidate Questionnaires pages.

In the News and Events pages you can find articles reflecting NN opinions and perspectives and you can Submit an Event to add items to appear on our calendar.

We welcome those who share our views to join our mailing list. Click here to come on board.
