Ready to Do Your Part to Save Democracy?

Now thru Election Day, in Mt Airy/Germantown

Despite whupping Mango Monster at their debate, VP Harris finds herself in a tight race in Pennsylvania. If

Philly has a big turnout, we win Pennsylvania. Remember, no Democrat in modern times has won the White House without wining the Keystone State.

Sign up to canvass in Wards 22 and 59 (and elsewhere) to talk with voters (particularly, low-turnout) about Kamala Harris' record and plans for the future, the nefarious plans of Trump/Vance and the GOP's Project 2025, and why their vote can make the difference.

If you'd like to help now through Election Day, whether it's buddy canvassing, postcards, voter registration, or make phone calls, please click below to let us know.

Join Our PNN Postcard Campaign!

Since kicking off this postcard project less than a month ago, the response has been amazing -- 155 volunteers have written 3500 postcards. So, a big thank you to all the volunteers who showed up and did their part to help win this election and had some fun doing it in community with others. Don’t forget! PA is a key swing state and winning our state will be determined by how good we are at increasing turnout, especially in Philadelphia.

WHAT WE DO. Our volunteers are handwriting postcards to low frequency voters (i.e., did not vote in the last 2020 Presidential election) and live in apartment buildings in North & NW Philly. These are hard to reach voters. Our messages follow a proven format which highlights a positive message about the Democrats – Harris/Walz, Sen Casey and all the Democrats - and the urgency of voting in this election which may be won by a few votes per division. We provide everything you need.

IT WORKS. If you wonder whether postcards work, check out this article showing they do. Research shows that leaders like The Progressive Turnout Project and the Movement Cooperative successfully moved thousands of voters to the polls who wouldn’t have voted otherwise

WE NEED YOUR HELP DOWN THE HOMESTRETCH. WITH 31 days to go before the election, we have 5 more scheduled Postcard events. Due to the overwhelming response so far, we have spent more than anticipated on postage costs. PNN has been providing the stamps, but now we need some help with donations and more volunteers. We can win this thing. Let’s all step up to do our part to bring victory home.

Say No to a 76ers Arena in Chinatown

Philly Neighborhood Networks strongly opposes the plan to construct a new Sixers Arena on the edge of Chinatown.

Here’s why:

This project is wildly unpopular with City residents, and for good reasons. It will make life in Market East a traffic horror show, undermine the stability of Chinatown by ushering in an era of unaffordable real estate tax hikes due to inevitable assessment increases, and grant completely unjustifiable tax breaks to the Sixers’ billionaire owners.

Conceding to the Sixers’ demands would also be a cowardly reaction to the team’s extortionate threat to leave town if it doesn’t get what it wants. It should also be noted that Sixer management’s promises to bring ...

Watch Financing Philly's Future

This past Tuesday, we recorded our latest Financing Philly's Future program. This time we had as our guest David Backer, a professor at West Chester University who discussed the insane number of add-on fees from banks and private lending institutions that look to be simply another way to capture revenue. Check out the 30 minute program here.
