PNN’s mission is to engage, educate and empower our neighbors to make our City and our nation a better place to live. Here’s what’s coming up in each of these areas:
Engage: Do Your Part to GOTV!
Educate: Project Your Vote Photos
Empower: Canvass & Phone Bank!
Last Chance to Get Out the Vote!
Now until Tuesday at 8PM
It's GOTV time! As we enter the final weekend until Election Day, our job will be to talk with those folks who said they would vote for Harris in person or by mail but have not done so yet. Our job is to have a final conversation that reaffirms their commitment to vote and helps them make a plan.
We are closing in on 50,000 knocks, but there is more for us to do.

The Big GOTV Phonebanks
Friday, November 1, 6PM & Tuesday, Election Day, 1PM
Phone bank to get out the vote! Our canvassers have been working tirelessly to find the "infrequent voters" to get pledges to support Kamala Harris and the Democratic ticket. Now it's our job to call those voters and ensure they actually make it to the polls! Join one of our group phone banks, held over Zoom, on Friday, November 1 at 6:00pm or on Election Day November 5 at 1:00pm. Our cutting edge auto-dialer makes this work a piece of cake. It does the dialing for you, and nobody will see your personal number!

"Project Your Vote" Photos
Over the past month, PNN has been conducting a "Project Your Vote" campaign - literally projecting pro-voting images on buildings and other urban screens throughout the city.
We are also running Public Service Announcements on the electronic billboards along the Market Street Fashion District.
We've included a photo in our montage at the top of the newsletter. If you would like to see more, then click the link below.

Postcard Writing Campaign Exceeds Expectations
When PNN started this postcard writing campaign last month, we expected that we would write a few thousand postcards and engage 50-70 volunteers. After 14 events at outdoor venues and supporters’ homes …
PNN MAILED 8,400 POSTCARDS AND ENGAGED OVER 350 VOLUNTEERS
Were we ever pleasantly surprised!
THANK YOU to all the volunteers who came out week after week, in the daytime and in the evening, who made this possible. Postcard campaigns are effective. They are also fun and help to build community when we are working together to accomplish a common goal – i.e., reaching low propensity voters who live in apartment buildings and are hard to otherwise reach.
The enthusiasm level for this general election has really gone through the roof. And we hope we have helped to increase the turnout. Let’s carry this momentum through and after Election Day!

This Week in History
Nov 4, 1964 – D.C. Residents Vote. The residents of the District of Columbia cast ballots in their first presidential election after the 23rd Amendment gave them the right to vote for president. D.C. has three Electoral Votes, just like Wyoming, although it only has one (non-voting) representative in Congress.
Nov. 5, 1855 – Eugene Debs Born. Happy birthday to Eugene Victor "Gene" Debs, an American socialist, political activist, trade unionist, one of the founding members of the Industrial Workers of the World, and five times the candidate of the Socialist Party of America for President of the United States.
Nov 7, 1916 – First Congresswoman. The Montana suffragist Jeannette Rankin is elected to the U.S. House of Representatives. She is the first woman in the history of the nation to win a seat in the federal Congress.
Thanks for your activism!
